FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How much does the league cost?

League fee for position players is $850. League fee for pitcher's only is $300. We have a monthly payment plan option also available with a $150 player deposit.

Early Bird Special: Players who register before December 15th can save up to $200 by registering early on our website.

(This is the fee to participate in the league and will cover our fees for player's uniforms, field rentals, umpires, baseballs, paying our staff, etc.)

Housing:

  • MVP4life will find you a Host Family.  This option is available now but homes are limited.  The fee is $650 or a payment plan option can also be set up.
  • Players can also set up their own housing and living situations over the course of the summer.  Here are some ways that players have made this work the past couple of years:
    • Stay with family or friends who live locally.
    • Participate in the league with a college teammate who is from the area and live with him.
    • Rent an apartment with a group of teammates locally.

How is the schedule normally formatted?

For the summer of 2024, we will feature 8 teams playing a 28-30 game schedule.  Teams should expect to have 3-5 games per week.

The final day of the CBL will be July 31st. But for player's interested in playing in a national tournament at the conlcusion of the CBL Season, we select a group of guys to represent the Corn Belt League in Wichita's National Tournament.

Strike Zone Sports Performance Workouts:

The opportunity for players to train at the Strike Zone Academy over the course of the summer is an experience that creates tremendous value for our league and we take pride in this. We provide each player with a membership that gives them access to use our indoor facility that includes batting cages, turf tunnels, and a strength/conditioning room.
