The Corn Belt League is headed back to Wichita, KS, as preparations ramp up for their fifth appearance at the SummerBall Showdown, taking place July 30 – August 3, 2025, at the Genesis Sports Complex in Wichita.

CBL Commissioner Joe Siwa recently connected with SummerBall Showdown Tournament Director Dave Buche to discuss the league’s return to the national stage. After a Top 4 finish in last summer's tournament, the CBL is aiming even higher this year with sights set on the championship title. “We’re excited to represent the Corn Belt League on this national platform. After last year’s run, we’re hungry for more and ready to compete with the best", said Joe Siwa.

As anticipation builds, the CBL is in the process of assembling a competitive roster featuring talent from across the league as we near our end of the summer tournament taking place 7/24-7/27.

The event also features the fan-favorite Chick-fil-A Home Run Derby, giving players a chance to swing for the fences and win Chick-fil-A for a year, along with a custom bat.
