JJ Isaacson Field at Seymour Smith Park

The Corn Belt League’s primary ballpark is JJ Issacson Field at Seymour Smith Park, a city-run facility. The park was built in 1961 and has a rich local baseball history, hosting countless area high school and college games, as well as numerous high school and American Legion district and state tournaments. The field underwent over a $200,000 facelift in the fall of 2016, which included a complete regrade, new irrigation, warning track, infield, mound, plate, bullpens and all new sod. Further improvements are on tap in the coming years. The natural field has dimensions of . It is fully lighted and has a press box, batting cages, concessions and restrooms on site. The ballpark is surrounded by family-friendly areas with community fields, a splash park, courts, a disc golf area, a skeet range, and a skate park all on 197 acres.

Doc Ross Field at Iowa Western Community College

Doc Ross Field serves as a secondary home for the Corn Belt League, providing a high-quality artificial turf playing surface. Located on the Iowa Western Community College campus in Council Bluffs, Iowa. The complex is fully lighted and includes a press box, batting cages, bullpen areas, and on-site concessions and restrooms. The facility has undergone recent improvements to maintain top-notch playing conditions.

Westview High School

Westview High School opened its doors in 2022 and is the newest secondary location of the Corn Belt League featuring an artificial turf infield with a natural grass outfield. It's a true hitter’s paradise as the field favors offensive fireworks, making it a thrilling venue for bats to come alive and a pitcher’s challenge. Its shorter dimensions compared to our other sites make every at-bat feel like a high-stakes opportunity.

 

 

StrikeZone Indoor Facility

The StrikeZone Baseball & Softball Facility is Omaha’s premier indoor training center, established in 1996 and proudly owned and operated by Joe Siwa. Spanning 18,000 sq. ft., the StrikeZone features 7 Iron-Mike batting cages, 3 full-length tunnels, a dedicated pitching tunnel, a fully equipped weight room, and a complete pro shop. As the city’s longest-standing indoor facility, it has become the go-to spot for players looking to develop their game year-round through memberships, private and group lessons, summer camps, team camps, and fall leagues. Every Corn Belt League player receives a StrikeZone membership, giving them access to elite training resources and a proven environment to sharpen their skills all summer long.
