Become a Corn Belt League Host Family in 2026!
The Corn Belt League is proud to bring top collegiate baseball players from across the country—and even internationally—to Omaha every summer. Our players rely on the generosity of local families who open their homes, creating a supportive, welcoming environment that makes their summer in Omaha unforgettable.
Why Host a Player?
Hosting a Corn Belt League player is a rewarding experience that goes beyond baseball. Families develop unique bonds with student-athletes, mentoring them both on and off the field while sharing the best of Omaha. From exploring local attractions to cheering at games, host families play a vital role in a player’s summer experience.
The Role of a Host Family
As a host family, your responsibilities include:
Providing housing and basic meals for your player(s), with a private room and bathroom if possible
Access to laundry facilities (families are not required to do laundry)
Offering guidance and support as players navigate their summer in Omaha
Respecting household expectations while fostering a welcoming family environment
Players may have summer jobs in addition to playing baseball and families are allowed to host one or more players if space allows. While families cannot choose their player, the league carefully considers household preferences during placements.
Host Family Benefits
Corn Belt League host families enjoy:
League apparel to show your team pride
Tickets to every game
Homerun membership to the StrikeZone, including free summer camps
Professional photos with your hosted player (scheduled in advance)
