Internships

Omaha's Collegiate Summer Baseball Summer Internship Program

Omaha’s Collegiate Summer Baseball League is in the process of hiring interns. The league is headed into its 10th season providing opportunities for college baseball players to continue playing and build upon their skills throughout the summer. Unfortunately, as the popularity of summer leagues continues to grow, the access to resources has dwindled. A knowledgeable and ambitious intern group will be a huge factor in the success of our 2025 season. We will be seeking strong, undergraduate candidates with preferences in Sports Management, Media, Communication, Marketing, and Journalism. Join the Corn Belt League as a Media Intern for the summer season, working to highlight the league & our teams through engaging content. This internship will provide hands-on experience in sports media, including game coverage, social media management, and content creation for both the league's socials and press. The dates of our internship will run from May 25th - August 1st, and during that time interns will set their work hours per week. MVP4Life, our non profit group, will work with out of state Interns on finding housing.

Expectations:

Plan your schedule to ensure diverse team coverage without attending every game. Over 110 games are played in a 2-month span, so balance is key. Focus on creating equal opportunities to highlight both in-state and out-of-state players, ensuring broad representation. This internship offers the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to the Corn Belt League’s media presence while building valuable skills for a career in sports media.
