WE WANT YOU TO BE A PART OF THE 2027 SUMMER SEASON

The Corn Belt League was built specifically for college baseball players. Since 2016, we've created a summer baseball experience that allows players to compete at a high level without sacrificing everything that makes a summer valuable. With all teams based in Omaha, you spend less time traveling and more time playing, training, working, building relationships, and enjoying the city.

WHY PLAY IN THE CBL?

• COMPETITIVE REPS — Play 28–30 games against college players from across the country.
• NO-TRAVEL MODEL — All teams are based in Omaha and play right in town at premier fields
• PLAYER DEVELOPMENT — Every player receives Strike Zone indoor facility membership, giving access to batting cages, tunnels, mounds and a weight room.
• ADVANCED TRAINING — CBL pitchers have access to the UNO Pitching Lab and biomechanics evaluation opportunities.
• WORK + BASEBALL — Flexible summer jobs and internships allow you to earn money and gain valuable professional experience while continuing to play.
• HOST FAMILY PROGRAM — Coming from out of state? The Host Family Program provides housing while helping you become part of the Omaha community.
• LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT — Take part in our annual Dale Carnegie Leadership Workshop designed to help athletes build confidence in their communication skills and relationships.
• OMAHA — Spend your summer playing in a baseball town that has plenty to offer away from the ballfield!

YOU DON'T HAVE TO BE RECRUITED TO PLAY IN THE CORN BELT LEAGUE.

One of the things that makes the Corn Belt League different from other summer collegiate leagues is how our teams are built. Complete the CBL Player Registration Form on our website and our staff will place you on one of our Omaha-based teams. You do not need to have a coach recruit you. You do not need to already have a connection with a CBL coach. Simply register and we'll take care of the rest.

HOW TEAM PLACEMENT WORKS

When you register, you'll have the opportunity to:

• Request to play for a specific CBL coach
• Request to play with a current or former teammate
• Tell us about other players you'd like to play with

We'll do our best to honor those requests, especially when you register early. As rosters fill throughout the spring, some requests may become more difficult to accommodate because of roster balance and positional needs.

Don't have a coach or teammate request? No problem. Our staff will place you on a team where you can get meaningful playing time. We work to balance rosters across the league.
